Dr Pepper & M80 are looking for a couple lovely ladies to travel the country and represent at this year’s (2009) MLG live events. Major League Gaming is sponsored by ESPN and acts as the governing body for professional competitive gaming. Throughout the year, teams of four members compete for prize money totaling over $250,000. Lucky winners will get to travel to Newark NJ, Dallas TX, Orlando FL, Columbus OH, and Las Vegas NV. Vivaaa Las Vegas!

About the job
M80 & Dr Pepper are currently seeking Female Team Leaders to travel across the country to represent Dr Pepper at events with Major League Gaming, the premier professional gaming league. The Team Managers will travel to 4 markets (NJ, ORL, DAL, OH) and help manage a team of Dr Pepper girls, who will be supporting our sampling efforts at the events. Responsibilities may also include updating Facebook and Twitter pages with relevant content before, during and after live events when possible (photos, links, comments etc.).

Qualified candidates should have 2+ years of related experience ideally in marketing or promotions. Must be very outgoing, able to create enthusiasm, and provide direction to a team of contract models. Flexibility in working hours will be required, including days, nights and weekends. Please include two images (1 head shot, 1 full body shot), resume, and a brief commentary on why you should be considered.

The Events
Major League Gaming is the governing body for the competitive world of professional video game competitions. Throughout the year, through online battles and offline competitions, teams of four members compete for prize money totaling over $250,000
The events will be held in Newark NJ, Dallas TX, Orlando FL, Columbus OH, and Las Vegas NV. Over 40 gaming stations (8 players battling 4v4) will be placed along the outskirts of the halls. The center stage area houses the main stage where the top tiered teams compete against each other throughout the weekend, culminating in the championship match late Sunday evening
ESPN is the official media sponsor for MLG and is a key part of the brand’s ability to succeed in developing the “sport” of video gaming into a dominant, youth-centric national pastime. Throughout the weekend, ESPN carried reports from the competition online through ESPN.com

The Dr Pepper Experience
The Dr Pepper booth has the premier sponsor location within the convention center. Other brands with booths include Stride, Panasonic, GameStop and HP. Our booth is the biggest booth, at 25’x25’ and is directly in the center of the room and in the line of sight for anyone entering the arena. Primary elements of the Dr Pepper experience include:
• Sampling full cans of Dr Pepper
• Seeing, meeting, & playing against Str8 Rippin, Dr Pepper’s sponsored MLG team
• Free play of Halo 3 in between the scheduled pro-player exhibitions
• Meeting the Dr Pepper girls (including photo opps against the Dr Pepper backdrop)
