The lottery isn’t legal in every state.
Nuff said.
Why not give out the coupons in a lottery style? Submit your email and then every week or day the selected ones would get a coupon emailed to them. Scripting/hackers then would be taken care of. Nuff said.
Why does Old Navy allow ebay to have people SELL the coupons? They clearly say they are not for resell. Why can’t Old Navy contact ebay to stop this practice? Then just MAYBE more people could get a good coupon. BOOOOOO to old navy
We are ALL upset with you OLD NAVY! You have had PLENTY of time to fix the scripting issues, but you seem to be ignoring it. Sticking your head in the sand and ignoring the problem DOES NOT WORK!!!
I was one of many who said – give them the benefit of the doubt – this promo is great. I said don’t fuss because they are awesome for offering the promo. I defended ON and this promo many times!
Well now I’m here to tell you THIS SUCKS and it DOES NOT HAVE TO!
EITHER
1) FIX THE SCRIPTING/HACKER ISSUE
OR
2) GO BACK TO ONE SINGLE COUPON RELEASE
If you don’t want to deal with the scripting issues then FINE – go back TO A SINGLE RELEASE EACH WEEK!
Do you really WANT TO SEE US ALL BOYCOTT OLD NAVY?
YOU ARE ABOUT TO SEE US ALL DO JUST THAT!!!
ok- I’ve been defending ON but im on the fence now… The highest value I have ever gotton was $45 & I was happy with that. I am getting annoyed that no honest person can get the $60′s. Im not mad that I haven’t gotton one… Im mad they are all for sale on ebay! What a crock!!!
I can’t wait till thursday for a new drop so i can go to ebay and pay some one $15 for a coupon that is suppose to be free with no money transferable. That i could of get at the ONW site if ON would fix it’s loop holes. I’m so exicited.
Another post from scripter Real_Deal on Slick Deals:
…I said right in the begining m80 has been told of the issues. its upto them to fix these.
…100s were still on ebay. you are living in a dream world if you think you have any chance of getting high value coupon until ONW/M80 fix the issues.
See, they know what they’re doing is taking the opportunity away from other people. You have to know it too. Please fix the problem!
Yes, seriously, please fix the problem or release more coupons at one time. When there were 1000-1500 of the large ones released at a time, people had a better shot of getting one. Now that the hackers are getting in before us and there are so few up for grabs, there are none left. I know this is creating “buzz” for you and all, but it’s just not fair to the average person who is spending a lot of time waiting for these coupons to be released only to not even have a chance of getting them. This is a fantastic promotion and I know we’re lucky to have it and nothing is guaranteed, but for me and a lot of other people, this issue is ruining the appeal of the promotion and with that, ruining our desire to shop at Old Navy at all. Please, please, please fix the problem!
There HAS to be a way to stop people from steeling the coupons with script programs! PLEASE FIX THE PROBLEM!
Just posted in the Slick Deals Forum. Please fix your site ON. I’m tired of reading about guys getting these coupons using scripts.
Quote from real_deal :
ok guys and gals,
i am finally registering in this forum. have been lurking since beginning of this promo.
the reason i am registering is because i want to offer 60 off 100 coupons to you guys. I have to accept I received them using scripts so they are ill-gotten.
I can’t really use these so thought may be i should ask you guys. first few people who post and ask for these will get these. Please post that you will like one of these coupons even though they are not kosher
you know what i mean.
BTW, m80 has been told of the issue last week. they either don’t care or are taking too long to fix. i was surprised when they did not fix it this week.
thanks
I have to agree – I was there when these coupons went live on Thursday night. I figured out the water thing & earned a $60 coupon – accept I did not GET the coupon because my screen went gray and froze. Opened a page new and did it again – froze again….. Tried it one more time and it froze again!!! At this point both the $60 and the $45 were gone… so I got NO COUPON even though I figured it out in plenty of time! Very disappointed this week. I am so frustrated that I have decided NOT to go to Old Navy until I get a good coupon. No Coupon = No Purchase
PS: The multiple release really stinks. Hackers/eBayers get them all after the first release.
I agree with Momof3. I’ve been in contact with hundreds of other people who experienced the same exact situation as me yesterday. They earned the 60 off 100 coupon and the screen just went gray. I have not heard from a single person who actually received the coupon, which leads me to believe that it doesn’t actually exist.
You lure people to the site promoting big coupons, and then don’t actually give them out.
When I contact Old Navy about their website issues, they respond with the same pre-written email every time brushing me off and encouraging me to shop at their stores. Maybe I should contact the Better Business Bureau for something to be done about this!
KEEP IN MIND MONDAY IS A HOLIDAY! PLEASE GIVE OUT THE 3RD ROUND OF COUPONS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! DON’T WAIT UNTIL TUESDAY! HOW CAN YOU GIVE OUT COUPONS ON TUESDAY IF THEY EXPIRE ON THURSDAY?!
Will they give out more coupons today? Does anyone know?
Got to Love Old Navy. Thanks for the coupons. Keep them coming.
it is pretty suspicious to only release 167 coupons (the first drop) and to have one person selling 24 of them. I think the count for toad224 on ebay is at 60 this week alone!! Something is up when this person is able to sell so many in one week when only 500 of the 60/100 are released the whole week total. I say bring back the one release and be done with it. Everyone was so much happier with the one time release because then you were able to try and get one and if you missed, you were done for the week and didn’t have to stalk ONW’s site all weekend long… only to be on the site right when they update and have your screen freeze.
My screen froze on the $60 too but I was able to snag $45. Im sure the site has soooo much trafic that its bound to have ‘glitches’. ON doesn’t owe anyone anything. I personally feel like they are doing the best they can. I’ll spend my $45 this week same as I did last week. No complaints here:)
i got one $10 of $50 i will use it ,because 10 off 50 ,15 off 75 and 20 off 100 all are same 20 %.
sonya, it doesn’t matter what time they release the coupons, it is a bait and switch scam. They say they are releasing these huge $60 off $100 coupons but even if you are there at the exact right moment, their website will have a “glitch” and you won’t be able to get it. You will have to settle for a lower value coupon instead.
And even if you complain about it, or ask Old Navy to stop the hackers who have a backdoor into the website and get the coupons to sell on ebay, they will not even respond. They don’t care. All these posts here and all the negative posts on blogs all over the internet today are just more “buzz” for them.
Maybe it’s time to call the BBB. Isn’t bait and switch illegal?
i think better if the oldnavy directly sell the coupons to customers insted of some is selling
do they release the coupons once a day or how?
This frozen screen thing is really messed up. Now, even if you are quick enough to get a coupon, the site will freeze up so you lose it. Please Old Navy, fix this issue!
I was on oldnavyweekly this morning, and the moment the coupons loaded I refreshed my screen and got the $60 coupon… or at least I should have. My screen went gray and the coupon never popped up. There were coupons left, so I opened another tab and tried again. Same thing, when a coupon should have popped up, my whole screen just turned gray and froze. Old Navy you owe me a $60 coupon!!!
I was on the moment it refreshed today and even though I filled the square up with the bucket, the coupons still kept saying scandal and it never changed. I kept refreshing my screen and still nothing. I helplessly watched the counter number fall. They were ALL gone in about 4 seconds. I wish Old Navy would go back to the one time release, at least then there were more available if you figured it out. These are gone the moment it refreshes. And again, most of them go to the ebayers. I think Old Navy should require that your name prints in the middle of the coupon (like on a check), so that the ebayers cannot sell them. That would solve this problem right away. You would have to show your ID and if it doesn’t match, than you wouldn’t be able to use it. People would stop paying these people their full time salary for these free coupons. That Toad guy on ebay made over $1000 last week alone on Old Navy’s generosity. Old Navy needs to fix this problem.
everyone i know who does this had their screen freeze after filling up the screen with water… what’s up with this?
I LOVE U GUYS! JUST SPENT MY $60 OFF THIS MORNING. FANTABULOUS. LOVE MY NEW CLOTHES
you guys are unnecessary arguing about one time release vs multiple release.
IT DOES NOT MATTER. That toad224 guy has already sold over 25 coupons from last night release (that was 1st time release).
So Old Navy has to fix their systems. hire some decently intelligent people instead of the bozos who are programming this site. They are the bottom of the barrel guys who are making this site.
I think it’s great they release in batches. Last thursday I wasn’t able to get one but when they updated coupons of fri afternoon I got a $45. I was on my lunch break from my full-time job & I have two kids. Its NOT impossible to get these! ON has tried to make it fair & to stop the ebayers… keep complaining & they may pull the whole thing! Lets see how you like no coupons at all;) All jokes aside- Just keep tryin!
this is my 6 th time trying to get one coupon,i thing oldnavy wants to give more coupons to the plople who are selling the coupons not to there loyal customers or to the one who are waiting for coupon on thursday…..because with children u can manage for 1 day (thursday) but how to manage if i dont get the coupon on first attempt (thursday)…………….
hi,yes all the coupons one time was good,if we get one ok or not ok,but now 160+ at a time and when the release next bach ,we have to stay all day and night for one coupon ,wwhen the coupons are reloaded………
Will they be postiing them in batches again? Or just the once for the week?
thanks ONW COUPON HUNTER for making it harder to get the coupons.
you suck
Click lotion blonde in green bathing suit is wearing for $5/50
Put head on boy for $10
Video, 9 seconds in, click on the flip flop sign for $15/75
Put orange bag in left hand of girl in purple dress for $20/100
Use spray can from girl in purple dress and spray girl with purple bikini twice for $45/100
Pick up green bucket, fill water from pool in the square with girl in purple dress, pour on family in the next square with goggles until screen fills up for $60/100
What was up with the site tonight? The counter started going down before the site even was up. Then I did the tan for the 45 in just seconds after it was live and my screen froze. Did it in another window and it froze again. Come to find out there are tons of us who had frozen screens right as it started. Very frustrating!
E- complain much??? Why is everyone getting so greedy?!?!?
E the 60 is better then nothing. So appreciate and move on with your life !
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE $75 OF $100 COUPONS???? THIS SITE IS LAME WITH OUT THEM!!!
I wonder if they’re going to release them all at once or little bits at a time this week. I hope they release them all at once so I can go on with my life and not be obsessed with trying to get a coupon. LOL
I agree Money Savin Momma. Great deal!
Wow, the $1 flip flops sound great! And the 5 pair per customer limit is quite generous!
Ebayer – not sure everyone will like you rubbing it in our faces that you are hogging them and making a profit.
So, where’s the update?
