Thanks for taking the time to give us old navy coupons. Now I can go shopping for my girlfriend!
Attention Old Navy, M80, and folks!!! There’s this guy named Real_Deal on SD forum who claims that he is using a script to get the $60 off $100 coupons illegitimately off your OldNavyWeekly site. Look at this: http://i42.tinypic.com/6jmybo.jpg . The script problem was brought to your attention by some people about a couple weeks ago but your Old Navy team did not fix it for some reason which I don’t understand why. You must fix the hacking problems IMMEDIATELY because this is only hurting your promotion and your Old Navy customers. You wonder why your customers are complaining to you that their old navy coupons that they got legitimately don’t work? Well, that’s because the hackers are using the scripts to steal coupons from ordinary people who got them legitimately off your ONW site and are selling them on Ebay to make a profit or offering them on forums for money or other benefits in exchange. Because I’m aware of this problem, I do not wish to participate in your coupon hunting game on your ONW site until you fix this because it is disgusting what these hackers are doing and it is unfair to us people who try to get the coupons fairly. If you don’t want to lose any of your customers and have more complaints, then fix the hacking problems right away.
Please forward this to the Old Navy development team.
Everyone who wants to help do something about this, call 1-800-OLD-NAVY and ask to speak to the supervisor of their consumer affairs department and/or email Old Navy at [email protected]

I got up this morning, very early, around 2 am EST, to attempt once again to acquire a darn coupon. I literally watched those $60 off $100 coupons disappear within a matter of minutes. But! Even when the site (at the top of the page) gave the remaining coupon count as 97, when I found where the coupon (most likely) was, I got the “scandal” message that said all the coupons were gone! How the heck does that happen??!! Does anyone know if the problem from last week with the hackers is still an issue? or was it resolved?
Um, As much as I hate scammers, I still can not feel sorry for those who lost money because they purchased a coupon from EBAY. I mean, you DO realize that you buyers are getting scammed even if it DOES work at the store…I mean really now…stop being so lazy and go work for your coupon…and yes, i will be reporting ebayers tonight.
Just because didn’t leave feedback on an Ebay auction doesn’t mean that they didn’t actually buy from that seller. I am an Ebayer, but did NOT get any of the ON coupons to sell. I haven’t even gotten ANY ON coupons. But the reason feedback is not give a lot of times is because that person hasn’t logged into their account recently or they have contacted Ebay and Paypal and trying to work it out with them if the seller won’t refund their money. Going through Paypal is a way to guarantee you will get your money back if you were scammed. So stop whining and complaining about the Ebayers getting the coupons. If you don’t like it report their auctions to Ebay. Or if you are scammed report it to Paypal and Ebay.
More hints on times and dates coupons will be released would be great for most of us ON coupon hunters. Other then that its a great marketing tool and can be fun if you dont get all stressed out before hand…lol
Smack talking here is not going to accomplish anything.
Honestly, Old Navy is at fault for all of this for not catching it sooner. The aforementioned Ebay sellers have consistantly been “repeat offenders” and have sold hundreds of these on Ebay. Old Navy needs to do something about it. I mean really, if KFC can do it, surely they can do the same.
Here is what EVERYONE should do-
If you want to help do something about this problem, call
1-800-OLD-NAVY and ask for their consumer affairs dept.-then SPEAK to a supervisor
Then, log on to http://www.oakland.bbb.org
This is the Better Business Bureau where the Old Navy HQ is located at. File a complaint against the company.
Not only that, but also email Old Navy at [email protected]
Be sure to also report all Ebay user id’s that are selling multiples of these coupons as well.
Some of these users are:
Toad224
drboatcallie
airtime4less
maorees20109
oh and if there is concern with people getting multiples, can’t they just limit the coupons to a couple per computer/ip? I know that when I printed up that free KFC meal coupon, it was limit of 4 and you couldn’t print more. Couldn’t ON do the same? Just an idea!
I don’t know Sukibear, on one hand I think you’re right if it was a new ebayer, they were likely just trying to cause trouble and the feedback is false. On the other hand, as a seller, I’d be really upset if my 100% feedback rating got lowered for any reason. (fake buyer or not) I count on that as part of my good reputation on Ebay. I think whoever did that was mean but yeah I do think they got one over on these sellers that count on a 100% feedback. I also know that as a buyer, I’ll pass on sellers with negs. I may be passing on a good seller with a crappy buyer but honestly it’s just as easy to buy from a 100% positive seller and not have to worry at all.
Old Navy, thanks for doing these deals, loved spending my coupon this week! Hope to get another tomorrow! Mama needs some clothes now!
Wow.. just now someone posted a script on Slick deals to get a coupon that was issued to people in the past.
This should be stopped as soon as possible.
PLEASE take immediate action.
I AGREE WITH OLDNAVYWEEKLY_SECURITY_ISSUE. ANYONE CAN CREATE THEIR OWN COUPONS. IT WAS JUST PUBLISHED ON SLICKDEALS SO IT’S VERY PUBLIC NOW. IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED ASAP!
PLEASE FORWARD THE SECURITY ISSUE TO YOUR DEVELOPMENT TEAM IMMEDIATELY. THE ABOVE IS HOW YOU ARE GETTING EXPLOITED AND PEOPLE ARE STEALING COUPONS. IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED BEFORE THE SITE GOES LIVE TOMORROW.
Ok Guys and people and old navy. Seems like many people are puzzled how come the coupons are coming used when in fact they did not use it.
To help you guys understand, here is the simple script that you can use to send yourself a 75 off 100 coupon.. Just save the following in an html file and open it in internet explorer. Enter a number in 542000-543400 range (other may work too) and your email address and press “Press” button. if you see something like “type=”SUCCESS” Email sent ” in the box below then it was successful. Check your email and you should have a 75 off 100 coupon. Remember this was given to someone else earlier.
I am posting this openly to help Old navy fix their systems before this weeks promotion starts tomorrow.
Can someone please post it on m8 board and email it to old navy support? thanks

Interesting, because the person who keeps leaving bad feedback bought 3 coupons and is a new user, with no feedback. Looks like some desperate and sad coupon mom thought she would be SO clever and buy the coupons and then claim they were used to bring the feedback down. …Wow, you SO got them!
Oh bummer, looks like some these ebay sellers perfect feedback isn’t so perfect anymore. LMAO!
Kudos to Old Navy for even offering such a promotion and shame on those who are taking advantage of it. Ultimately, Old Navy is generous to offer this and I’m of the opinion that you “get what you get and you don’t throw a fit.” No one is entitled to a coupon. I don’t like that people are hoarding these, selling them on eBay, etc. either but frankly it will come back to bite them someday…and complaining probably won’t do a thing to change it. Thanks again Old Navy!!
Just wanted to say I love you Louisa!!!
drboatcallie, you are full of shit. WE couponers are the ones laughing. Go ahead and make 5-25 dollars on a coupon, and then have to send it all back. When you get caught scamming, they make you send ALL of your money back…I cant wait:). We are the ones profiting because we are outfitting everyone in our circle for practically nothing while you continue to scam the unknowing. Your money is worthless, your coupons are worthless, and your words are worthless. We just hate you because we can.
drboatcallie,
you are not anonymous on ebay. Wait till fraud investigators comes knocking on the door…
then we talk about who will be last one laughing..
To all you whinnying cry babies. Bitching and complaining will not help your cause. Us Ebayers will continue making money from this Old Navy Coupon Promotion.
Just sit behind your computer all night while you see me grabbing the coupons to sell them on Ebay.
No matter what you do, us ebayers will be the last one laughing, since we are the ones making money here.
MESSAGE TO OLD NAVY: Nicole, I hope you and your partners at Old Navy take the complaints seriously about the ebay sellers and don’t just chalk it up to “sour grapes.” It is apparent someone is able to access the coupons either before they are available to the public or they have access to the bar codes. If you check the seller referenced above, toad224 on ebay, you’ll see he has sold over 50 of this week’s $75 off $100 coupons in just the last 5 days.
I did honestly buy a used coupon last week. I left positive feedback when I recieved the coupon, didn’t think to make sure it worked. I guess I am just too trusting. Now the seller is telling me I am screwed and won’t even refund my money. I am now one of the reporters…the sellers aren’t playing fair.
Look its not that difficult to break this system of ebayers taking so many coupons..
All people need to do is buy few and then say it didn’t work. and ask for refund and then leave negative feedback..
I know its not really truely honest but what they are doing is not kisher either. if by doing this, we break their business, they will not have much incentive to snatch so many coupons.
@Burnt Ebayer — Don’t lie just because you’re upset someone got more coupons than you. If you bought coupons and they really were used, why didn’t you leave negative feedback? This toad person does not have one single negative feedback for his coupons, so whether or not you agree with what he’s doing, the coupons seem legit.
Burnt Ebayer: I don’t believe you. If that was the case, why didn’t you leave a negative feedback. I know why : because you did not really buy any.
I will report every Old Navy coupon that I see on Ebay that has been obtained through this promotion and I will have the auctions shut down for violation of Ebay and Old Navy Terms.
I bought two of Toads coupons off of Ebay and when me and my sister went to use them we got some surprising information….they had already been used. STAY AWAY FROM THIS EBAYER ! HE IS A SCAMMER!
Thanks Old Navy. I am also greatful for this promotion and have made quite a lot of dough. keep it going.
P.S. To all of you out there half of TOADS coupons are a scam. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
Toad224…
You are a complete loser. You just came on here to try and talk your ebay site up and I’m glad you did because we will all see you shut down. You know that what you’re doing is totally illegal and it specifically says so. You might be a coupon crook, but we are all honest couponing moms who want to have fun and save some money, and we are out to get you. Thanks for the tip off, now we can come hit your sales too.
Start notifying ebay to each auction, look towards the bottom of the auction and click Report this item. Then select prohibited (banned) items.
A real plus….completed auctions, if they are removed because of a violation, the buyer submits to ebay, and gets their money back.
Could you imagine selling 40 coupons and having ebay take back your $800?
LOL
Toad, I don’t believe it was Old Navy’s intention to have you create revenue off these coupons. It was their intention to boost THEIR revenues by having more shoppers. You’re selfish and really a disgrace to society.
thanks for giving these $75 off $100 of coupons.
it’s been boosting my ebay sells. thanks for everyone that has been buying these from me for $25 or more.
anyone else that doesn’t like me taking almost all the coupons from ONW to sell on ebay, well i can give you a discount. just mention M80 on any of my ebay auctions.
thanks Old Navy, M80 and anyone who has bought a coupon from me on Ebay.
It’s hard for me to believe that one person can get as many coupons as Toad224 has on Ebay. And I thought it was against the rules that Old Navy states on their coupons about them not being transferrable. ??? I agree…this needs to be stopped so that people who want to actually USE them will be able to get one. This is way out of hand! Surely Old Navy and Ebay can work something out to get these coupons OFF EBAY!!! Very annoyed…
Agree, it would be more fair if there were not gluttons getting the $75 coupons and then selling on ebay. How can these people sell the Old Navy coupons if they are non-transferable? I’m a gonna start complaining to ebay as well. Need your help Nicole, I stay up and on your site, why bother when someone is stealing them to sell them?
I finally snagged a coupon on Thursday, took it in to use it yesterday and was denied. Called the 800 number today and was told it was already used yesterday in Conneticut. I’m in California. Really, really sucks but customer service couldn’t do anything about it.
Just wish it was fair to everyone. The only way I’m going to snag one is if I go to ebay and buy one. Come on Old Navy, contact ebay and get them to cancel all the auctions for the $75 off of $100, aren’t they non-transferable? It’s up to you Old Navy to stop these dishonest people who are making money at your expense…and your loyal customers who are losing out.
Thanks Nicole for the update! You guys are doing a GREAT job and I really apprecaite all the work you do for us!
John,
I know of at least half a dozen people in your predicament right now. They got their coupon off of the site themselves, and they went into the store, it said it had already been used! Someone called ON, and they said someone hacked into their system, so it is possible that they released some of the same barcodes. I just wish Old Navy would address these problems, as honest people who want to shop at the stores, can’t.
Nicole, PLEASE respond to some of these emails. The customers don’t deserve to be left in the dark.
Thank you.
What happened to my comment that had my complaint about my coupon already being used? The Old Navy store manager accused me of fraud, Old Navy customer service couldn’t do anything, and you guys just delete my post without giving me an answer? Me & my son were very disappointed when we tried using the coupon I got from your site on Monday. They said the coupon was used days before I even got it. It makes no sense.
At minimal, I’d like an explanation of what went wrong. I’d love to continue trying to get coupons from this promotion, but I don’t want to waste my time if you guys are just going to give me invalid coupons.
Hi Nicole, we are happy to have you on the ON coupon promotion!
Wow! It’s great to see all positive posts!
THANK YOU ON/m80! We LOVE your AWESOME coupon promo.! Please keep the $75 off 100′s coming. I know there have been some scams/forgeries, but that is to be expected in our society, unfortunately. These great coupons have gained MANY new ON shoppers (I am one of them – I had never been in an ON store before). The coupons are doing what they were intended to & word is spreading!
We LOVE tips & clues – it builds the excitement and we can’t wait to hear about what tomorrow may hold!
PS: While my friends and I love this – the multiple releases this week were exhausting (not that we would give up the hunt) if ON/m80 does multiple releases again, could you please tell us how many releases there will be in total? Also it would be awesome to know for sure that coupons won’t be posted on the weekend (we stayed up all weekend and still missed them).
We all hope you’ll keep in touch!
THANK YOU!!!!!
Thank you so much for doing this Old Navy! Please don’t stop putting up the $75 of $100 ones because they have gotten so much interest in the store and I think more people are going to
Old Navy because of the coupon promotions. If you could update during more regular hours and then again at night that would be awesome because staying up every night is just exhausting. Thank you.
I know I love coupon hunting! But i can never get the biggest coupon. Does anyone know if ON will be posting more $75 off $100 coupons this week?
This is a very fun game that ON is doing for everyone. What a GREAT coupon that you are putting out there for everyone to try and find! I have a request to maybe update once in awhile. I am not able to stay up until 2am to try to get them. Also, what happened to all the earlier comments?
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love this promotion, the whole idea of Modelquins is great, and has been executed wonderfully. And the coupons!!! The crazy coupons, are amazing! You’ve got me sneaking out of my cave and spending money on clothes (over $500 over the last few weeks), which I would never have done otherwise. I’ve also been using the coupons and buying Gift Certificates for the difference to make some great gifts. Thanks so much Old Navy (and m80)!
