  1. As long as their are idiots willing to pay 40$ for a 75$ coupon, there’s going to be sellers finding ways to get more than their fair share. I just wish ON would crack down on them. They could easily contact Ebay and get them removed…but in a way I think neither ON nor Ebay want them removed.

  2. I do agree that the coupons found at OldNavyWeekly.com are authentic. Before I need to browse through the entire net to find that the codes are either bogus or outdated. This is why I have bookmarked it on my browser.

  4. as a retailer, I find it humorous that folks are discussing the blasphemy of coupon code & tip sharing. ON is a business, folks. The more they make you scrounge like dogs, the less time you have to spend in the store. This is why retailers LOVE sites like retailmenot.com. It’s an industry term called “foot traffic”. Without it, every retailer dies. Get over yourselves discussing how gods will descend upon you and strike you down if you send someone else a coupon hint.

And as for ON, I find it funny that folks spend HOURS looking for %10 off a $5 item. Seriously, your time is worth money. Don’t waste it in places it isn’t valued. You’re worth more than that.

I found a giveaway for a 50 off 100 coupon today at this address: http://www.stlmommy.com if anyone wants to try for a free one.

  6. look atthis says:

haha.. looks at this auction all you people who complain others are getting multiples… you can too now so stop complaining now..

Isn’t this supposed to be Old Navy WEEKLY?! Why are there no new coupons this week? What a load of false advertising.

  10. I’ve seen several sites giving away Old Navy coupons, including the one I linked to above. Anyone know of other sites giving away ON coupons right now?

  11. ON Coupon Hunter says:

I hope this week goes as well as last week! There were no glitches that I experienced and the site went live nearly flawlessly! GOOD JOB!!! I finally got a $75 off last week and I’m thrilled!

Again… I hope this week goes as well as last week. THANK YOU for working on all the issues that people were experiencing including script-ers & coupon code thieves!

  12. people person says:

Here is the thing. The ones who posted they have chat..right.. well I visited them a week or so ago and oh yes their bell chimes and all that good junk. Then they run and talk amongst themselves in a private chat to help each other before helping strangers . YUP! BUT! the mods and admins threaten to kick you out of “their” chat if you talk and not listen while they GRAB all the coupons for themselves then they want to tell you all about where they are once they have their satisfied coupon dosage. Sad and rude to make people wait on your unworthy causes. Don’t trust chat rooms . Just go to the site click around once it begins and find it for yourself. You have a much better chance. I hope IN does something about those abusing the site and getting multiple coupons. It is not fair.

  13. Mom2three says:

Yeah, it sucks that there are sellers getting multiples of the high value coupons, but when you look at it, they’re only getting a small percentage of them. And if people would just STOP buying them, they’d move on to the next get-rich-quick-scheme…but as long as their are idiots willing to pay 40$ for a 75$ coupon, there’s going to be sellers finding ways to get more than their fair share. I just wish ON would crack down on them. They could easily contact Ebay and get them removed…but in a way I think neither ON nor Ebay want them removed. ON is getting free advertising/sales to an even wider audience, and Ebay is getting their fees…. It’s a no-win situation for us.

Oh well, that being said, I really hope all this twittering the ON modelquins have been doing might be a heads-up to a soon drop…. But I’m not holding my breath :-(

  14. Oh No says:

This is a list of the ebayers that had gotten the coupons illegitimately and that had sold a lot already:

    toad224, blue-sea-11 (relationshipbuilder), ash-tronics, drboatcallie, js_07

  15. Ron says:

I just want to say that I have no problem with people buying coupons on Ebay. I just don’t like the fact that a few are getting numerous of the high value coupons illegitimately off the ONW site. It’s like a robber stealing money from the bank.

  16. I JUST WANTED TO SAY “STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT PEOPLE SEELING THE COUPONS ON EBAY, IF SOMEONE WANTS TO PAY FOR “FREE” COUPONS, THEN THAT IS UP TO THEM”. I DO NOT MIND PAYING FOR THE COUPONS, WHENEVER I AM UNABLE TO GET MY OWN. I AM JUST GLAD TO GET ONE AND USE IT AND SAVE LOTS OF MONEY.

  17. Hey there says:

You are such a kiss ass. They probably don’t even read you people’s comments.

  18. update tonight says:

will there be any update tonight. what do people think? i wish we had some info from old navy about that.

Also people please stop complaining about this promotion and be thankful that old navy is even doing this great promotion. they do not have to give out a single coupon and listen to your complaints. granted there are things that could have been better but still with all the issues, its a great promotion.

i have been able to get great value coupons couple of times myself despite all this talk of scripters etc. So if you really put time and little bit lucky (which is an important aspect of winning in any popular promotion) you can get a coupon yourself. I just checked ebay and it seems for last 2-3 weeks, about 50 or so high value couoons end up on ebay. Come on people, that is not even 5% (of 1500 75 and 50s they gave out). If you have done any real work yourself, you would appreciate its a pretty good execution.

so chill out and relax. and finally think its only a coupon and not your entire life so dont be obsessed too much..

thanks M80 and Old Navy for the great promotion. I look forward to it every week..

  19. Shame on You says:

blue-sea-11 (relationshipbuilder) and js_07 are really the same person. If you look at the feedback they both left for others, they say the same thing. They both have sold a bunch of those high valued coupons since May. They both have over 20 coupons since the last release. Obviously they didn’t obtain them legitimately like the rest of us.

ON said that they were going do work with Ebay to prevent the ebayers from selling their coupons on ebay. Obviously they talk the talk but they don’t walk the walk because I still see the selling of ON coupons on ebay.

The person above is obviously an ebayer that gets these coupons illegitimately and sells them on ebay to benefit himselfish-self. You should be ashamed of yourself!

  20. better than last week says:

i like it when there is more than one seller. last week only ash-tronics seems to be a only one selling so he kept raising prices.. also other people asked over $40 for those coupons..

looks like ash** didnt get any this week. seems to be there is competition between ebay sellers too..

obviously it would be better if there are no sellers but i guess i have to be realistic.

  21. WTH says:

Ebayers blue-sea-11 aka relationshipbuilder and js_07 are selling multiples this week. Either you didn’t fix the hacking issues or the people you hired to hide the coupons on the ONW are coupon thieves themselves.

  22. Summer says:

So I’ve been searching for coupons for awhile now and have had problems with my clicking not working. Is anyone else having issues? Last time I tried many times to click on the girls T-Shirt the “scratch-n-sniff” one and nothing happened. Now I’ve been trying to click on this update also and am still not getting anything on a few of them…
Anyone else having issues. I’ve tried it on two separate computers and still doesn’t work!

    Ahhhhh

  23. B says:

    I like swaggrabber.com

  24. So what other sites are people using to find coupon locations? I was hoping people would list some! I have a link above to one that posts coupon locations each week, but what are other sites? I don’t mean chats, but sites that list coupons

  25. The supermodelquins are chatting!

  26. Please give a day this week says:

Could you please give us a day for this week’s refresh? Not having a day makes it a little unreasonable for those of us who watch the site for a refresh, as we do have other obligations. It would be great to have a clue as to what day to put aside our other responsibilities for a coupon, please, please, please, please, please.

  27. Seems like Thrifty is getting kind of beat up for mentioning her site’s chat room. There are quite a few public chats, as well as, forum boards. The Ebayers seem to lurk in all of them. Anyone who is posting a comment on this board knows plenty about the ONW promo already & the fact that there are public chat rooms dedicated to it, would not be news to them. Unless you go it solo, or join a private chat room… someone is most likely using whatever info you post to greedily grab up Qs to sell.

  28. myself says:

I don’t think it’s wrong of Thriftymama to do it either – a lot of those moms have kids who can use those clothes much more than the average ON shopper who puts all their purchases on their parents’ credit cards anyway.

  29. Y U Hatin'? says:

what’s wrong with people wanting to bring traffic to their site? Some moms support their families from their sites. I don’t see why people don’t get made over big companies monetizing and making money, but they get all put out when Mom bloggers monetize.

    Seems really stupid to me.

  30. so sad says:

    “What were you thinking… Says:
    June 10th, 2009 at 4:23 pm

Thriftymama, do you realize by doing this it will make it harder for everyone to get a coupon? When chats figure out hiding places when some 300 people are in them, it makes it very hard for everyone else to get a coupon.

Why would you advertise this chat on m80??

because thriftymama does’nt care if honest people get the coupon or not.. all she cares about is more traffic to her site to generate more ad dollars for her.

Thriftymama: did you ever think that you are helping people cheat in this promotion by having a chat room where people share the coupon locations. This is so against the spirit of this promotion. Now anyone who is sincerely trying will have no chance of getting a coupon when 100s of these cheaters are on a chat board sharing notes..

Its so sad that so called mama’s are trying to monetize on this great promotion from Old Navy. Old navy should shut all these sites down.

  31. Georgia says:

What’s the problem with being in a chat and having someone to help you pass the time while you wait for ON to decide to hit the reset button? Absolutely nothing. The point of the bell is for those of us who do have a life and have to cook dinner, do laundry, go pee, take the dogs out to potty or whatever else life decides to throw at you. The bell alerts you if you are away from the pc for even 10 seconds. As far as helping each other out on where locations are….so what!! As long as someone gets them that is planning to use them and not sell them on Ebay I don’t care.

I was in a chat on ON night a couple of weeks ago….all night long. I had more fun in that chat than I have had on the internet in a long time. We had clean chat, no cussing and no bickering. I met some new friends and people that live in my town. It is such a small world on the net.

So…if you don’t like chat..don’t go. If you don’t like ON, don’t bother searching. But don’t downgrade the people who do.

  32. Jenn says:

If you don’t like chat rooms for ON night, then don’t use them. Otherwise, enjoy! IMHO. (And, while some chat rooms have the perk of a bell ringing when the site goes live, it wasn’t the main point of chat night. We chatted to help pass the time while we waited….forever….) :)

And, as far as posting about the chat room on a site advertising ON deals…are you kidding that you have a problem with that? Do you think that no one else knows about this? That you are in a secret ON club that is limited to a select few. Share the wealth, that’s what I say. Have you not read the ON blogs about being generous with the coupons? Again, IMHO.

    Blessings!

  33. Live chats are useless says:

there is no advantage to having an alarm in a chat because if you set your ON page to update automatically every 5 seconds, you will already know when the site has updated and won’t have to worry about a “bell” ringing. the chat i was in had too many people talking at once, some that needed to be kicked out, and it was of no value.

  34. eelydnic says:

I’ve heard that in some chats with an “alarm” sound, lots of morons like to keep doing it just to mess with people.

  35. Live chats are useless says:

I was in a live chat last week and it did absolutely no good. What a waste of my time. Seems like all the lurkers in the chat could have gotten the coupons, sounds like you’re better off searching on your own to me.

  36. Hater says:

I dislike ON. I hate their promo.

  37. Chat says:

I going to that chat, thanks for telling us folks who needs all the help we can get.

  38. What were you thinking... says:

Thriftymama, do you realize by doing this it will make it harder for everyone to get a coupon? When chats figure out hiding places when some 300 people are in them, it makes it very hard for everyone else to get a coupon.

Why would you advertise this chat on m80?? :(

  39. I’m with Thrifty Mama on this one- could we have a specific day? It is challenging enough to try to find them sometime with a 24 hour period…but over a week period? Please let us know! :) Thanks!

  40. I have a chat on my site. We help each other find locations, and an audible bell rings when the Old Navy site goes live. Nice for those of you that want to get some sleep. :) Click on my name to get there.

  41. So no day this time huh? I can’t blame you guys for having the the site not update at the correctly scheduled day. There were a lot of people upset of course, but I am sad we aren’t getting a day this time. Day, please?

  42. I hope there are lots of good coupons this week.

What sites do you all use to help find good coupons? The one I like so far is Engineer a Debt Free Life.

Let’s share our favorite sites to find ON coupons.
