Diesel revenge? Audi launches campaign as diesel fuel is now cheaper than gas

I am constantly confused with the conflicting articles between the availability of diesel and its cost of production. Although many towns and cities continue to provide pump facilities the cost is prohibitive for many drivers. Will someone please outline a true reflection and what the real future holds for diesel produced vehicles.

As a result, every North American utility bigger than a breadbox is in some stage of considering or planning its metering infrastructure overhaul. Many utilities, including Idaho Power Co. (IPC), have already started their advanced metering infrastructure.
There is a lot of diesel engines and they are the order of the day. It is nice to find that Ford is also joining the competition. Lets wait and see the results.
It is surprising to find diesel cars among high end cars. Generally the brands prefer petrol engines for the stability and durability. Now because of the cost of the gases, everybody is preferring diesel.
Since the day Audi has lowered the prices of their some of the lower end models, there was an increased number of sales among the middle class. I have also seen the statistics in the business insider that their exports to the third world countries have also increased substantially.
Diesel vehicles are a good favorite among the middle class, who are not much concerned about the good pick up or the long life of the engine, but only the cheaper fuel that is used. Audi is sure to get a good response.
