That was a sure waste of my time. I did reported 4 of his listings to eBay and nothing happened. Its obvious old navy chooses to ignore this and that is why I am led to believe that toad224 is part of old navy. If you look in the archives of this site.
I give up:
please stop coming to this website and oldnavyweekly.com.. For you it will be as good as the promotion is stopped.. dont spoil it for the other people who still are able to get good enough coupons (50 off 100 is pretty good and so is 25%).
dont be greedy and think you are entitled to 75 off 100 coupon every week. even wth all the issues, i have been able to get 3 75 off 100 over this promotion which is great. people who complain are just too greedy or somehow feel entitled to best coupon every week.
If you want the promotion to end, just stop looking at it. NOONE IS FORCING YOU TO COME TO THIS WEBSITE.
and yes oldnavy, please do whatever you can to make it a fair game. but please continue this great promotion. nothing is perfect in this world and even with all its issues, this has been a great promo.
I just love Old Navy!!!
Christy,
I didn’t say eBay promoted anything… I said it was on the seller’s website. It had nothing to do with eBay. Sorry, but you’re not very nice
Melissa,
Ebay would never promote or have any kind of listing that entailed recruiting people in any manner. Its against their policy and unless you can produce such a listing, or an ebay item number even if the listing has been closed it can still be retrieved upt to 60 days. If its been sixty days then I have to question why this has not ever been mentioned on this sites archives or to date. I’m sorry, I just cannot believe that. I have been with ebay for over 10 years and I’m certain the listing would have been pulled immediately, if that were the case. That is promoting outside of ebay and not physically selling an item. Come on people. Do you honestly think that ebay would have such a listing offering to recruit people to obtain coupons? I’m sorry but with my many years of experience and over 13,682 feedback rank. I can’t help but feel that story to be a bit far fetched. Unless proven wrong.
Christy,
When the eBayers first started putting the coupons up, if you looked on their website, you could see they were recruiting people from India & Bangladesh to get the coupons. They were offering people 25 Taka (about 36 US cents) for each coupon (human rights violation?). The ad isn’t up anymore, but I guess they recruited enough people to do it. Maybe they have someone running the eBay operation is in the US, but from the looks of it, most of the coupons are from Bangladesh.
Please discontinue this coupon program. Alot of people are obviously disappointed and frustrated with all of the time and effort in waiting for the coupons to be released and only to find them gone 1-2 minutes because toad224 obtained over half of the coupons you release each week. Because this has gotten so out of hand and that you haven’t been in able to do anything about from day one. Please end this promotion and put toad224 out of business. Its the only way thats fair to everyone. Unless you endorse toad224 to sell your coupons. I can only hope you resort to offering coupons either in store only or do a weekly drawing per e-mail address.
Noreen,
I’m so sorry to tell you this but “Toad224″ flat out lied to you. He is not from Bangladesh. He is from the United States, New York to be precise. In addition to the item location of New York shown below. If you go into his eBay account and go into his eBay feedback profile. It says he is located in the United States. If he was from Bangladesh it would say Bangladesh. Also if you google toad224 you will basically find that he is a computer genius. I’ve cut and pasted my prior message to him and you will find on the very bottom that he is located in New York and not Bangladesh. I think he just wants to get people off his back and thats why he told you what he did.
Hi Christy,
Thank you for sending us your feedback. We have discussed our sale of these coupons with eBay Inc. and they have deemed that we are fully within our rights to sell these coupons. They have specifically noted on our account that we are a legitimate reseller of these coupons. Since our account review with eBay, we were invited and admitted into the eBay PowerSeller program.
We have also been in contact with Gap Inc., the parent company of Old Navy, and we have not been asked to refrain from selling these coupons. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration.
Thank you for looking at our items!

lied to you. He just said that to get you off his back. I e-mailed him back on July 29th and he is registered with eBay as being located in New York. Your message response from him should have indicated that info. Also, if you look at his feedback profile, he is from the United States. I’ve copy and pasted his response to the e-mail that I sent him back then.
THE REASON Old Navy is not taking any action against “TOAD224″ is because he is located in Bangladesh. I sent him a message asking him how he was able to get access to all those coupons, and he said that he has a “team” working on them in Bangladesh and could not disclose any information to me on how they retrieve them. Old Navy could not do anything about it even if they wanted to . So guys lets not blame Old navy for ignoring our pleas.
Great tank sale this weekend! Picked up a ton with my beautiful $75 off coupon! Thanks & keep up the good work!
I think next week should be a dress sale week considering summer’s almost over! See what you guys can do about that and I’ll love you forever!
eBay don’t enforce the non-transfer/non-resell statement on coupons, unless the manufactuer contacts them. Personally, I don’t think its a problem for someone to sell the coupon as long as he get it HONESTLY. Its ironical that ONW add a new single-window-only mechanism to prevent people from getting more coupons and wouldn’t do anything to this toad guy.
I was on vacation and missed the reset this week but from the looks of it, seems that “toad224″ took most of them as always. Well guys, cheer up because nobody can stop this dude. Not even Old Navy themselves otherwise they would have done so by now.
JC you are so right. I can only hope that Old Navy will contact ebay and have toad224 listings removed. Only in a perfect world would he be required to refund every buyer that purchased Old Navy coupons from him or otherwise make him donate all of his profits to charity. It would be the right thing to do. You know as sad as this sounds there is a part of me that wonders if it would be best for Old Navy pulls the plug on this promotion. The only reason being, toad224 is stealing a huge percentage of the coupons and profiting alot of money. There is only a small percentage of us that get to enjoy the savings, for the rest of us, we get nothing, unless we pay him for a coupon. I’m sure toad224 knows people like us are onto him. He probably even reads the postings on this site. When and if his listings are ever pulled from ebay, (which I doubt). I’m very frustrated that he’s been able to do this from the start of this promotion and he will continue to do so until Old Navy contacts ebay. Old Navy should have ebay make him refund those buyers who purchased these coupons from him because I know its against Old Navy’s policy for coupons to be re-sold for money.
onw coupon hunter, those are two different situations. Old Navy gave permission to Savin Momma to give away coupons to promote their oldnavyweekly promotion whereas toad224 steals tons of high valued coupons from the promotion. Stealing is a crime, you can go to jail for that.
They finally updated the site and fixed the site problem on firefox today but it’s too late, all the higher valued coupons are gone.
I see that toad is still selling more 75 coupons and he has made thousands of dollars off it already. I suspect that he has a inside job with a company that Old Navy contracted to do the oldnavyweekly site promotion or has connection to an insider that does the site promotion.
toad has already sold over 90 $75 off $100 coupons, wow, that is a lot of money he has made from this week’s promotion.
All you have to do, Old Navy, is to directly contact eBay and ask them to remove toad224′s coupon listings to stop this. If he can’t sell them, then it will give him no point in stealing more coupons.
For now we should report toad’s listings for abusing seller practices. If enough of us report him, maybe his listings will be removed. But Old Navy is the only one that can stop all of this.
Nicole or whoever moderates this, stop deleting my comment. This is what the comment section is for.
maybe since Old Navy gives Money Savin Momma all those coupons to give out or whatever she does with them to promote her site, Old Navy doesn’t care what people who sell them on e-bay do. They are all proffiting off Old Navy one way or another while advertising for Old Navy.
and if you combine all other weeks sale he has done on ebay, its mind bogling. he has sold for at least 15 weeks (and some weeks over 250 coupons). if total he has easily made over $50,000 on these sales…
now we know who is getting a good deal on these coupons.
I can’t keep up with how many toad224 has sold. After I get them all calculated, he sells more. As of the time of this posting, he has sold 128 75/100 coupons varying in prices from $24.95, $25.95 and $26.95 (unless he accepted some lower offers which I doubt). With these 128 coupons sold he has made just under $4,000 in LESS THAN 24 HOURS since the coupons were released for the week! The exact amount: $3,297.60. I’m glad to see that my emails were forwarded on the to the right person about all of this…yeah right.
DANG IT – I too use Firefox and have been wondering why I couldn’t get the updated site. I was hitting refresh on IE last night also and still nothing. I didn’t know about Toad and his stupid antics on eBay either… that would explain how the $75/$100 ones go so fast.
Does anyone know when the site gets updated every week?
Contacting old navy will not do any good. I’ve contacted them via telephone too on more than one occasion and even complained to eBay. The ones he sells on eBay are not fake. I was stupid enough to buy one from him a few months back and leave positive feedback before I learned about this promo and how I could have obtained this coupon myself. He also has 100% positive feedback, if any of the other coupons were fake, he would certainly have negative feedback for sure, stating so. I was told by eBay that if they are contacted by old navy directly and asked them to remove his listings, they would do so. What an eBay rep told me was what I can do is report the item for abusing seller practices. That was a sure waste of my time. I did reported 4 of his listings to eBay and nothing happened. Its obvious old navy chooses to ignore this and that is why I am led to believe that toad224 is part of old navy. If you look in the archives of this site. So many people have posted complaints trailing as far back as Feb-March, in addition to people contacting old navy on more than one occasion via telephone about this issue and nothing has been done. Its also obvious that this site is monitored as I’ve seen a few replies removed. In fact just last evening someone on the SD website forwarded a reply about toad224 on their website that was apparently was posted on this website last evening. After I read it on the SD website, I looked on this site to see if anyone responded to that message and it was nowhere to be found. Therefore it was removed by old navy or who knows, tit could have been done by toad224 himself. Old Navy is aware of all of these complaints that were made on here ever since the first one was posted and its only been ignored. I’m very disappointed in how this has been a continuous issue that will result in them ending the promo before anything is done about toad224. So sad.
I called Old Navy and spoke to a feedback rep and she said that they are aware of the people selling ONW coupons on Ebay. She told me that all the coupons on Ebay are fake or used, and that people who buy them are wasting their time. I don’t think that all of them are fake because Toad has really good ratings! This is frustrating! She told me to call back when customer relations opened about the firefox problem and that they will probably give me a free coupon (probably a 25% one, not the 75 off 100). Oh well I give up.
The people who buy off this guy aren’t really getting a deal if they think about it you pay $25 for a $75 dollar coupon and go shop and pay 30 dollars for 100 dollars worth of stuff its like having the $50 dollar coupon they might as well just hunt for the $50
If enough people complain about this in the morning they will figure something out just got off the phone with them call them during the day ask for store relations they will inturn work with ebay and the coupons will be voided
omg, this toad person has even more $75 off $100 coupons

I use Firefox 3 and I had no problem with the oldnavyweekly site when it updated in the past weeks until today. When they updated today, I got the same page from last week and couldn’t get any coupons because no coupon will pop up when I clicked everywhere, even on the right coupon spots, on the site. Even when I refreshed the site a few times, it’s the same thing, no coupons. Right now when I go to the oldnavyweekly site, it’s still like that. You wasted my precious time, I waited for the oldnavyweekly site to update for nothing!
I find it odd that toad is the only one on ebay that got so many $75 off $100 old navy coupons today while people were experiencing problems with the site on Firefox, it’s not the first time that he’s gotten so many $75s and I wonder why Old Navy is not doing anything about this but is just sitting back and letting this problem continue. This raises a lot of questions in my mind.
If this continues, you will leave me no choice but to shop somewhere else because I do not want to waste any more of my time on this oldnavyweekly hunt promotion when I can’t even get any good savings from it and I do not want to support a company that doesn’t do anything to stop crooks like toad from getting and selling numerous high valued coupons.
I know! Can we complain to the BBB about this? haha
I too used Firefox! this was my first time and am already ticked off and am giving up. If toad is getting all those coupons and no one is doing anything about it…then what is the point in wasting my time.
I too use firefox and didn’t know the site even refreshed! I am so pissed off right now! I can never win with this. I give up….
I have no problem with firefox, still use the old 2.0, but the update site loads nicely — just make sure to clear cache everytime.
THANK YOU FOR THE COUPON OLD NAVY! I LOVE YOU! I FINALLY GOT A $75 OFF THIS WEEK. FANTABULOUS! I TOLD ALL OF MY FRIENDS ABOUT YOUR SITE AND THEY’RE GOING TO TRY AND GET ONE NEXT WEEK ALSO! <3
In response to WTH,
I totally agree!!! I too used firefox and unfortuately and I ran into the exact same situation you did. A while later clicked on IE and of course, I was much too late for the larger coupons. You know what else is funny? It don’t know but this whole situation sure raises alot of questions.
He has now sold 36 coupons at 24.95 each. He has made 898.20 in just over 90 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is something that is SUPPOSE to be gotten for free.
I can’t help but wonder if toad is somehow affilliated with old navy or whomever updates their website. If he was cheating, you would think old navy would step up to the plate and do something about it. Since March, I as well as many others have complained to oldnavy.com about him obtaining hundreds of coupons in less than 1 minute. Come on!! You would think they would do something about it, but because they don’t raises a huge question in my eyes.
wow, the old navy tech guys really screwed us this week. If you use firefox, it’s the same page as last week and when I clicked everywhere on the site, no coupons will pop up. You can only get coupons if you use a different browser but not Firefox. That is really messed up, I didn’t get any coupons at all. Don’t you tech guys know that you’re supposed to test everything to make sure that it’s working properly before you update the site. Man, it’s like a careless person turning in a crappy assignment with lots of mistakes to a teacher.
Guess who got multiple $75 off $100 old navy coupons today and is selling them on ebay while we were having problems getting coupons on Firefox. Yep, it’s toad224, that slimeball. Maybe toad224 is one of the tech guys or has connection to the tech guys.
There’s even proof. Look at his sellings.

I’m sick of Old Navy not doing anything about it. This makes me want to start posting online and putting up posters saying that toad224 is America’s and Canada’s most wanted old navy coupon thief.
If you’re going to screw us and not let us get any coupons, then what is the point in having this promotion? So slimeballs like toad224 steal can coupons from us and benefit himself while we get nothing at all? Is that the message you want to send from your promotion? If not, then you should start fixing the issues and be nice to us by not screwing us like you did today with the site.
Toad has sold 28 75/100 coupons already – 1 hour after the coupon drop… thanks.
